The manure dryer is employed to reduce or minimize the moisture content of the mauure in large, medium and small chicken farms or regions with developed aquaculture industry. Different heat sources can be used according to the drying need, which can be gas furnace, hot stove, indirect stove, oil, electric heating, steam and so on.
Manure Dryers have many applications but are most commonly seen in the aquaculture industry for drying moisture content ＜65% chicken manure, duck manure, livestock manure, slaughterhouse waste, etc.
The manure dryer is mainly composed of heating device, feeding machine, rotating cylindrical tube, material crushing plant, discharging part, fan, unloading part and Distribution Cabinet.
Material to be dried enters the dryer, and as the dryer rotates, the material is lifted up by fins. When the material gets high enough to roll back off the fins, it falls back down to the bottom of the dryer, passing through the hot gas stream as it falls. The dried manure enters another section of the dryer for discharging.
